The Hawkeye Express Depot to board the train is located off Interstate 80 near the Coral Ridge Mall (2435 James Street, Coralville, IA 52241). The train will drop-off on the west side of Evashevski Drive. To access the train line post-game, fans will que at the staging entrance located about 200 feet to the north of the Depot stairs. Round-trip Hawkeye Express tickets costs just $15 per person with children 12 and under riding for free. Everyone must have a ticket to board the train, regardless of age. Fans are no longer allowed to trade one pre-paid parking pass for two train tickets.
Tickets may be purchased prior to game day at the UI Athletics Ticket Office, located inside the north entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday). Tickets will be available for purchase on game day at the Hawkeye Express Depot on a cash-only basis.
*The Hawkeye Express is not wheelchair accessible. On game days, patrons with disabilities restricting their mobility are invited to use the parking spaces reserved near Kinnick Stadium. For more information on ADA Parking, click here.
Hours of Operation
NEW FOR 2018: The train will begin three hours prior to each game, regardless kick-off time. The train will start back up at the start of the fourth quarter and continues until 90 minutes after the game.
Parking is free in surrounding lots and on James Street near the Depot.
