Season Tickets

Ordering Season Tickets

Orders for season tickets will be accepted through the listed deadline. Orders postmarked after the deadline will be filled if tickets are available. However, there is no guarantee that the order will receive the same seats held the previous year. After an order has been processed it cannot be changed.

Improve Season Ticket Seats

Improvements are based on the University of Iowa Athletic Department Priority Point System. Priority points are calculated on an individual's total athletics contributions, current gift to athletics, years of season ticket purchase, alumni status and letter-winner status.

  • Requests: Requests should be made in writing and mailed along with the application. The ticket office will review each application requesting an improvement. With the high volume of requests received each year, it is impossible to personally consult with each patron concerning their request. We ask that you be as specific as possible when making your request for a change in seating.
  • Additional Tickets: Please send a separate form of payment for these tickets. If tickets are available, orders will be filled using the University of Iowa Athletic Department Priority Point System.

Transfer Season Tickets

Tickets are not transferable, except between spouses.

Lost or Stolen Tickets

The UI Athletics Ticket Office will only replace season tickets purchased by general public and faculty/staff season ticket holders. This service is only available to the individual who initially purchased the ticket. Student tickets are not replaceable under any circumstances.

Refunds

All sales are final. Refunds and exchanges will not be issued.

UI Faculty & Staff Guidelines

Only persons whose names appear on the budget as permanent 50% or greater will be eligible to apply for two faculty/staff tickets. If employment ends prior to the mailing of season tickets, you will be required to pay the public price in order to receive your tickets. If you choose not to pay the public price, your order will be cancelled and all payments received will be refunded.

  • Priority Sections: Faculty and staff ticket orders that are located in priority sections pay 50% of the public per seat requirement unless the order has been exempted from the per seat requirements.
  • Retired Faculty/Staff: Retired faculty and staff may continue to order tickets if the individual has ordered tickets for five consecutive years prior to retirement. Please make sure the ticket office has a current mailing address. The retiree must notify the ticket office of retirement to continue to receive applications.

Youth Tickets

Everyone must have a ticket for entry, regardless of age. This includes infant in arms.

Revocation of Season Tickets

The University of Iowa has a long-standing history of promoting good sports-like conduct, appropriate fan behavior and providing an environment that is safe and enjoyable for all events sponsored by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. All spectators who engage in unruly or disruptive behavior, or participate in illegal conduct are subject to ejection from all athletic events. Ticket holders are responsible both for their own conduct and the conduct of those who use their tickets to gain admission to athletic events. This also applies to tickets sold on the unauthorized secondary market (internet auction site, ticket broker, etc.)

Ticket holders to all University of Iowa athletic events purchase, hold and use their tickets subject to compliance with the following policy:

  • Letter of Warning: A letter of warning will be issued by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to any ticket holder whose ticket is used to gain admission by any individual who is subsequently ejected from the event by law enforcement, security or event personnel for any reason. The letters of warning will be maintained and reviewed by Athletics staff and UI Police at the end of each sport season. In the case of severe conduct or repeat ejections, the ticket purchaser's ability to purchase tickets in the future may be restricted or revoked.
  • Revocation of Tickets(s): The ticket used by an individual to gain admission to an athletic event will be revoked for the remainder of that current sport season for, but not limited to, any of the following conduct or offenses committed within the confines of any UI Athletic facility:
    • Transport to a health care facility by law enforcement or EMS for incapacitation due to excessive drunkenness or the use of illegal drugs;
    • Citation or arrest for throwing objects
    • Resisting arrest/obstruction
    • Battery
    • Public urination or disorderly conduct involving violent or indecent behavior
    • Arrest for any violation of the Code of Iowa.

Any such revocation of ticket(s) will include a refund of the purchase price of the ticket(s) on a pro rata basis for the remaining events included in the ticket package, excluding the event in which the conduct or offense was committed. In the case of repeat revocations, the ticket purchaser's ability to purchase tickets in the future may be restricted or revoked.

For questions concerning this policy, please call (319) 335-9247 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
